R&D Dynamics is a world leader in the design, development, and production manufacturing of oil-free air bearing supported high speed turbomachinery. We are constantly looking for motivated individuals in areas of analysis, design and manufacturing of turbomachinery. At this time openings exist in the following areas.


Senior ORC Systems Engineer - Will lead simulation, analysis and testing of ORC systems. Will provide technical expertise. Will specify design requirements for heat exchanger, valve, pump and other components. Will have a proven track record in analysis, development and implementation of technical solutions. Will prepare specifications, statement of work and system drawings. Will have a BS or MS degree in Mechanical and/or Systems Engineering. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position is required.

Mechanical Engineer, Bloomfield, CT - Analyze, design and develop high speed turbo machines. Design and develop air blower for Fuel Cell Systems. Perform FEA, structured analysis and thermal analysis. Perform 3D modeling and tolerance stacks using GT&T. Will be involved in design changes, material selection and manufacturing process. Required to have Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent and U.S. permanent work authorization .

Turboexpander Marketing Manager - Responsible for creating and executing marketing plans for our turboexpander product lines. Specific duties include: new product development and launches, advertising/promotion of products and services, market research and reporting, creation of inventory and distribution strategy, creation of business strategy including new market entry and acquisition research. Qualification requirements are: B.S. degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering and 5+ years of industry, industrial marketing and/or sales experience. Experience with oil, gas, gas compression or energy industry is preferred.

High Speed Motor Engineer - Responsible for design and testing advanced high speed electric motors for commercial and aerospace applications. A high degree of analytical capability and the ability to understand motor interactions with variable speed drives is a must. Technical development includes permanent magnet motors as well as variety of other motor types operated with adjustable frequency drives. A Masters or PhD. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required. In addition, a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment is required. Candidate must have great attention to detail and ability to document analytical and design work. Candidate must be proficient with analytical tools such as finite element analysis (FEA), as well as the ability to create models for new motor configurations. Direct experience and/or training in high speed electric motor electromagnetic analysis and design are mandatory.
